At Legacy Ag Solutions, you’re not just selecting a local retailer with an extensive catalog of genetics and traits. Legacy Ag Solutions was founded in 2005 by Iowa agronomist, Tyler Rees.
What began as an independent regional seed company with a vast catalog of seed, has since grown into so much more. Joined by co-owners Chris Graf - Precision Ag Lead, and Woody Orne - Agronomy Consulting Lead, the team at Legacy Ag Solutions has brought life to Tyler’s original vision of creating a full service, fully sustainable agronomic hub.
The team is continually innovating to simplify complex decisions for Iowa growers. They’re each asking new questions, creating new knowledge, and raising the bar on what it means to be the top agronomy resource in Southeast Iowa.

Tyler Rees
Why Legacy?
Tyler values the long-term relationships that grow between Legacy Ag and their customers. His favorite part of the job is listening to customer success stories, and watching those successes multiply with improved management systems in place. Both Tyler and the Legacy team take pride in helping clients achieve lasting growth and success.

Chris finds his job very rewarding and enjoys helping growers use their farm’s data to make better decisions for their operation from the start to the finish of each crop. He appreciates the the continuity Legacy Ag has with their customers, helping them achieve their goals from year-to-year and generation-to-generation.

Chris provides customers with real-time support while also creating visual formats of information that the customer and the team can easily understand.
